 Cast and Crew

(aka the Cast and Crew)

Clive Randall
A potentially successful businessman, if he didn't spend so much money on cars. Clive is besotted with early Healeys since he bought and restored his first in 1996. He thinks he has some mechanical aptitude but he is largely deluded, though occasionally he does get something to work properly. He loves driving long distances, preferably in a Healey - or failing that - towing one.
 
Julian
A successful businessman and petrol head. Julian travels all over the world on business and loves to drive over as much as possible in his Austin Healey whenever he can. Although Julian has a number of classic cars, touring in his Healey is closest to his heart. Julian protests he knows nothing about mechanics, but it is largely a bluff and he is well able to lift a spanner.
 
Chris
Another successful businessman and compared to the rest of them not a petrol head. Chris also has an Austin Healey, but the poor thing gathers dust most of the year. Chris is Clive's co-driver on this trip and main navigator. Chris also claims to know nothing about car mechanics and, in this case, is absolutely right.


 
Alan
Is a manager in the retail trade and puts the rest of his companions to shame in terms of mechanical ability. A man known to re-build cars completely and an owner of a couple of classics Alan is a valuable member of the team, one whose skills we all hope we won't need but, if we do, will be most glad of them.
 
Ivor
Is a semi -retired businessman (do businessmen ever retire?). He and Chris are perhaps the sanest as they only have one classic car each. Ivor is another who proclaims no mechanical knowledge, but he has a boot full of spares and tools....
Ivor's immaculate 100/4 will be home to him and Alan for the 6 weeks.
