A VERY BRITISH CROSSING OF SOUTH AMERICA
6 weeks of driving down through Argentina: Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Bahia Blanca, Viedma, Puerto Madrin, Comodoro Riva Davia, Rio Gallegos, Rio Grande and Ushuaia. Cross into Chile: Punto Arenas and Puerto Natales. Back to Argentina: Esperanza, El Calafate, Punta Bandera, La Leona, Perito Moreno. Into Chile again: Cohihaique, Pt.Montt, Temuco, Santiago. Back to Argentina: Mendoza, Cordoba, Santa Fe. Into Paraguay: Asuncion, Foz do Iguacu. Then into Brazil: Frederico Westphalen, Passo Fundo, Caxias do Sul, Porto Allegre, Pelotas. To Uruguay: Montevideo, Colonia del Sacramento and finally back to Argentina: Buenos Aires for January 14th. Phew...
On the way we hope to see whales, penguins, seals, condors, lots of mountains, the Welsh Lake district, the wilds of the Patagonia region and hopefully no pumas what so ever.
